Course programme

Entry Requirements

You will need 4 GCSEs at grade D or above. You will also need to take part in a practical audition demonstrating your musical skills. You can do this by playing an instrument such as guitar or drums or by singing.

Delivery and Assessment

This programme of study is 100% coursework that means you will not take exams. Throughout the course you will be assessed in a variety of ways including: practical work, presentations, essays, journals, blogs, tutor interviews, group discussions, live performances, and recorded performances.

Progression

After completing the level 2 Diploma you will have the opportunity to progress onto the Level 3 Diploma to continue your development. The skills you learn at Level 2 will be vital in achieving your potential at Level 3 and then this can eventually lead to higher education or employment. Alternatively you can pursue a career as a freelance musician.
