Course description During the course you will learn how to create, compose and record your own music productions and you will study the practical and technical skills needed to produce your own portfolio of music using industry-standard hardware and software. Entry requirements Students must have ONE of the following:   • 4 GCSEs at grade A*-C, including English or Maths • Level 2 BTEC Diploma in Music Technology at merit, plus GCSE English or Maths at grade A*-C • Equivalent qualifications - Functional Skills may be accepted in place of GCSE Maths and/or English  Your experience of using music technology equipment will be assessed at interview. 4. Equipment required No equipment required 5. Assessment method You will be assessed on practical tasks, projects and productions, supported by a record of written evidence.
