2. Course description If you want to really hone your knowledge of music, audio and recordings, and would like to develop your skills in sound engineering, then this Level 3 Diploma in Music Technology is a really robust and comprehensive introduction to the industry. You'll learn about sound engineering, taking a look at both the theory behind it and how it works in practice, using a range of the latest music software, like Pro Tools and Logic Pro. You'll also be focusing on synthesis & sample systems, alongside the creativity that's required from the modern composer-producer. You'll be recreating classic recordings, as well as making your own original ones throughout the course, learning all the ins and outs of mixing and mastering both live band performances and sound for visual media. We'll even cover an introduction to digital video editing, as you learn the skills you need for a successful career from some of the most experienced tutors in the industry.
