Nail Services Level 2 Diploma

• Nail services is an amazingly fast growing section of the service industry that has developed into a booming business with its own identity. It offers a variety of diverse skilled and creative services.
• You will be working in our new nail salon using up-to-date equipment and professional products
• Your teachers are highly qualified, professional staff, with a wealth of experience and industry know-how from working in salons and running their own businesses
• During your course you will visit the National Beauty Therapy exhibition in Manchester where you will experience all the latest trends in the industry
• Past students have been placed in the finals of World Nails Skills Olympics completions

• The course covers the essential skills required by a Nail Services Technician at Level 2 including manicure, pedicure, nail art, and nail extensions and a the administrative skills to run a reception service effectively
• You will develop the skills to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with clients and suppliers along with the number skills to run a business successfully
• You will have opportunities to take part in additional specialist training courses for example Nubar Nails and Stroke Nail Art with Kim Tu (NB: some may require a fee payment)
• English and Maths skills will continue to be developed throughout the course

• You will work as part of a team, working together and supporting each other throughout the year but will have one-to-one tutorials to monitor progress
• All practical sessions will take place in our commercial salons working with real clients
• Theory sessions will cover the underpinning knowledge required to complete the assignments and pass the examinations

• Our commercial salons are equipped with all the up-to-date equipment and products for treatments.
• Classrooms are modern with IT facilities and you will also be timetabled for supported self-study with your tutor
• You are required to purchase a kit and wear a uniform for the practical aspects of your course
