Description
Level 2 covers the essential skills required by a Nail Technician. It covers manicure, pedicure, nail art and extensions with options of some beauty treatments.

Course Length
1 Year (full-time).

What will I study?
You will develop knowledge, understanding and skills relevant to the Nail Services industry including health & safety, promoting services and products, developing working relationships, manicure, pedicure, extend & maintain nails, nail art and make-up. You will also learn functional skills which are English, Maths and ICT as required.

How will I learn?
You will learn in state-of-the-art treatment rooms and salons, using industry standard equipment and high quality products and have access to the latest online learning materials delivered using Smartboards and plasma screen TVs. The course will be taught using a variety of teaching techniques to suit your individual learning style.

How will I be assessed?
All units are assessed throughout the course using a variety of methods including; observation, oral questions and external online tests.

Where could it lead?
Progression to the Level 3 (Nail Services) or employment within the Health and Beauty industry.
