Course programme
Introduction
This course focuses on woodland management, forestry and treecare. You will study at the Forest Classroom, Delamere Forest and at Reaseheath College and gain a broad base of knowledge and skills, ideal for branching out into the forestry industry.
About the course
This is a one year course designed to give you the skills and knowledge needed to pursue a career working in a variety of technical roles, including woodland management, professional tree care and allied industries, or to enable you to progress to a more advanced course.
The programme incorporates practical skills, visits, demonstrations
and lectures, based at Reaseheath College and Delamere Forest.
There is also an opportunity to study secondary qualifications including NPTC Chainsaw Maintenance and Crosscutting, Brushwood Chipper, Tree Climbing and Aerial Rescue (additional charges may apply)
