Four relevant GCSE passes at Grade A*-C (or equivalent) for the National Certificate, 5 GCSEs at Grade A*- C (or equivalent) for the National Diploma preferably including English and Maths and a satisfactory reference.

Physical preparation
All students have the opportunity to take part in residential activities, plus visits to public service organisations and expeditions.
Progression:
Students leave to work in the Police Service, Fire Service, Ambulance Service, Army, Navy, Royal Air Force and a range of service organisations. Universities accept BTEC National Diploma for entry to degree and HND courses.

Other Costs:
Students will attend a wide range of Outdoor Activities, Visits and Residentials as part of the course and will be asked to pay a one off payment of 120 at the start of the course as a contribution towards the costs.
