National Diploma in Business Studies (Certificate and Award options)

Introduction
This hands-on course offers you an in-depth study of general business organisation, marketing, accountancy, human resource management, business strategy and planning. Success in the national diploma provides you with the qualification to go directly to university or puts you in a good position to gain employment in business or commerce.
You will take 18 modules during the two year National Diploma, giving you the equivalent of three A levels. If you choose to take 12 modules you will earn a National Certificate, worth 2 A levels, while a one year course covering 6 modules will earn you a National Award - equivalent to one A level.

About the course
The course involves both theory and practical research to give students a sound understanding of business activities, including visits to local and not so local businesses such as Alton Towers, Cadburys, Chester Zoo and Disneyland Paris! Work experience, study tours and running a Young Enterprise company provide a broad range of very relevant experiences for the young business person.
