NCFE Certificate in Understanding the Care and Management of Diabetes level 2 (VRQ)

This qualification is designed for learners interested in gaining an understanding of the care and management of diabetes. It covers a range of key areas of knowledge applicable to working in the sector. There are 4 mandatory units that are required to be successfully completed and they are: -Understand diabetes -Prevention and early intervention of type 2 diabetes -Understand the initial care of diabetes -Understand the treatment and management of diabetes Learners must successfully demonstrate their achievement of all learning outcomes and assessment criteria of the units.Through guided learning using the student support material, one-to-one sessions with the tutor, group tutorials and independent study.
