Course Overview
The course aim is to introduce learners to the use of helping skills in everyday life and work.

Course Structure
The programme is delivered over 45 hours, once a week on Monday evenings from 18.30-21.30.

Qualification Aims
Objectives:
  • Develop self awareness when helping others
  • Develop listening and communication skills for helping relationships
  • Assist others effectively in a helping role


Assessments/Examinations
Assessments will be made using a portfolio of evidence and tutorials are also required.

Cost / Equipment
Tuition fee is£255 this includes registration and certification.
Free tuition may be available to those in receipt of certain means tested benefits or to their un-waged dependants. If you are not in receipt of benefits but find it difficult to pay any course related courses because of financial hardship, we may be able to help.
