This qualification provides learners with the knowledge and understanding required to lead a team including understanding business within a team leading context and supporting communication with a range of stakeholders at different levels.

It is suitable for existing and progressing team leaders within every sector as the optional units allow learners to adapt the course to suit their particular interest.

The eight optional units cover: managing performance and conflict in the workplace; understanding customers; delivering customer service and resolving problems; equality and diversity in the workplace; working relationships with colleagues; health and safety procedures in the workplace; handling information and mail; and developing and delivering a presentation.
