The NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health

The course is aimed at managers, supervisors and staff from all types of organisation who need a broad understanding of health and safety issues. The certificate helps them manage risks effectively. Many people take the course as a first step in a career in health and safety. To gain this qualification you need to complete NGC1, GC2 and GC3.

Candidates will be assessed on written examinations for each of the two units. On the successful completion of the two units and a practical assessment, a NEBOSH National General Certificate is awarded. This qualification is accredited by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), as well as the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM).
