About this course

Our children’s nursing students have fantastic placement opportunities caring for seriously ill children at world renowned paediatric hospitals such as Great Ormond Street or the Evelina London Children’s Hospital
Receive interactive learning at the award-winning Simulation and Interactive learning Centre, which replicates both hospital and home care environments- including a six-bay children’s ward, operating theatre and intensive care unit
We combine contemporary evidence and knowledge, expert skills and innovative approaches with the traditional core values that centre on the person and family, compassion and excellent communication to deliver a unique curriculum of teaching and assessment

Many of our graduates make the most of their connections in London and secure rewarding roles at NHS trusts here. Of course, we also have alumni elsewhere in the UK and around the world.

The education that prepares our graduates for life as a children’s nurse means they can apply their skills to work in other areas, like community care. Others have become successful in teaching, management or research.

Bachelor's degree with 2:1 honours degree and 575 hours (approximately equivalent to four months FT) healthcare-related experience.

Applicants who have achieved a high 2:2 may still be considered, and will need to ensure they include their grades for each module for all years of study on their application, or attach a transcript from all years of study at the time of application.

It is highly desirable for applicants to have studied Biology or Human Science to GCSE level or equivalent.

Pending approval by the Nursing and Midwifery Council
