What will I study?
The course aims to provide the student with knowledge and practical competence to undertake a range of skills related to make-up and character realisation, applicable in a wide range of occupations within television and film making, theatrical productions, and it also contains make-up skills applicable within photographic and fashion industries.

How can I progress?
Students can progress into various fields within the industry or to Higher Education.

What will I need to qualify for this course?
A formal interview and successful completion of a skills test is required. An Art background would be an advantage. Candidates will be required to provide a professional make-up kit and uniform and to build up a satisfactory portfolio of evidence. A minimum of 90% attendance is required.

In order to gain a full NVQ Level 3 these units will be studied; *Health & Safety, *Promote Additional Products & Services, *Contribute to the Financial Effectiveness of the Business, *Enhance Appearance using Cosmetic Camouflage, *Design & Create images for Fashion & Photographic Make-up, *Assist with the continuity of the performers appearance, *Apply Make-up to change the performers Appearance, *Apply Special Effects, *Complamentary Hairdressing.
