What will I need to qualify for this course?
Potential candidates must possess relevant industrial experience or CGLI or NVQ Level 2 or equivalent. An informal interview will be required, successful completion of level 2 and a skills test. Students are expected to provide items of equipment and salon wear, and must be prepared to work in a salon placement. Candidates are responsible for arranging models for assessment purposes and produce a portfolio of evidence. A minimum of 90% attendance is essential to enable students to meet targets which are set for each semester.

Course Structure
In order to gain the Level 3 Hairdressing qualification these modules will be covered; Mandatory; *Monitor procedures to safely control work operations, *Promote additional services or products to clients, *Provide hairdressing consultation services, *Creatively cut hair using a combination of techniques. Optional; *Colour hair using a variety of techniques, *Creatively style and dress hair, *Creatively dress long hair, *Develop and enhance your creative hairdressing skills, *Contribute to the planning and implementation of promotional activities.
