NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care

At this level, candidates who are employed in the health or social care sector, are required to take four of the mandatory units and two optional units. The choice of units depends on the nature of the candidate's job role.

Mandatory Units:

  • Communicate with and complete records for individuals.
  • Support the health and safety of yourself and individuals.
  • Develop your knowledge and practice.
  • Ensure your own actions support the care, protection and well being of individuals.

In addition, there is a range of 28 optional units.

Support to achieve this qualification includes registration, assessment and certification costs.

Carefully planned support sessions with learners ensure the best use of everybody's time. When undertaking an NVQ qualification, we will ensure you receive support sessions in order to build your portfolio of evidence.

Our assessor team will endeavour to support learners every 3 weeks.
Whenever you are learning, the team at NVQ Training & Consultancy are available by telephone, with online support service for learners throughout the programme.

Progress updates are provided for managers after every assessment.
