SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care

It is important that the SVQ you choose matches your job role and that you perform your work competently. Health and Social Care level 3 consists of 8 units, 4 of which are Mandatory and a further 4 units are chosen from the Optional group to suit your job remit.

Mandatory Units:

HSC31 Promote effective communication for and about individuals

HSC32 Promote, monitor and maintain health, safety and security in the working environment

HSC33 Reflect on and develop your practice

HSC35 Promote choice, well-being and the protection of all individuals

HSC328 Contribute to care planning and review

HSC330 Support individuals to access and use services and facilities

HSC332 Support the social, emotional and identify needs of individuals

*Optional Units - Generic

HSC338 Carry out screening and referral assessment

HSC343 Support individuals to live at home

HSC356 Support individuals to deal with relationship problems

Duration:

12-18 Months, dependant on Candidate Ability and input.
