NVQ Level 3 Hairdressing

Duration: 1 year part-time dependant on experience*
Course Level: Level 2
This course is suitable for anyone already in possession of an NVQ Level 2 Hairdressing qualification or equivalent, who wants to build on their existing skills and develop new ones.

What will I study?
The course features a wide range of optional units each offering a different career progression route. These include hair extensions, colour correction, long hair, salon management and promotional activities.

What next?
There are many local, national and international career opportunities open to the qualified Hairdresser. These include work in salons, department stores, hotels, health farms and cruise liners.

*The duration of the programme will depend upon the individual student's abilities and experience of working within the industry. Most students complete within one year, but for those with less experience it may take longer.
