Course Content: The course offers advanced techniques in hairdressing providing you with the relevant skills and technical experience to gain employment within the industry. On gaining the Level 3 you will have the opportunity to go into employment, become self employed, work on cruise liners or seek alternative employment through the fashion related industries. Units you will cover include:

· Monitor procedures to safely control work operations

· Promote additional services or products to clients

· Provide hairdressing consultation services

· Creatively cut hair using a combination of techniques

· Colour hair using a variety of techniques

· Provide colour correction services

· Creatively dress long hair

· Contribute to the planning and implementation of promotional activities

· Contribute to the financial effectiveness of the business

Special Features: Manufacturers courses include demonstrations, hands on experience in colouring and cutting techniques and also promotional activities developed by The Francesco Hair Group. There will be a need to provide your own models on occasions for some practical assessments.

Course Format: Full Time programme 14 hours per week. Students must have completed Level 2 Hairdressing and must be prepared to find a placement in a hairdressing salon for at least 1 day per week for the duration of the programme.
