Course programme

The Children and Young People's Workforce Diploma - Level 2 (QCF) qualification replaces the NVQ2 in Children's Care, Learning and Development (CCLD).

It aims to provide skills and knowledge for candidates who are employed or wish to volunteer (minimum of 10 hours per week) in a wide range of children and young people's settings covering the age range 0-19 years. These roles may include:

  • Nursery nurse
  • Pre-school Assistant
  • Youth and Community Worker
