For many OD is a confusing term, the definition of which varies depending on who you ask, and is often used interchangeably with terms such as 'organisational design' and 'learning and development'. In fact, two people may share 'OD' in their job title but in practice do very different things in their work. OD, as a general concept, is orientated to improve organisational effectiveness and 'health' and is becoming increasingly widespread in organisations. Suitable for: HR professionals and others who want to develop the skills and capabilities to operate effectively as an OD practitioner
