This course in Emergency First Aid has been developed for those responsible for the supervision of children and babies.

This will be of particular interest to Parents, Child Minders and Creche Assistants, Playgroup Personnel and anyone responsible for youth organisations.

The aim of this course is to provide these persons with a sound knowledge and understanding of first aid procedures when responsible for children and babies, along with the ability to recognise and treat many childhood conditions and illnesses.

Although the majority of first aid procedures are similar to those used in adult First Aid, there are substantial differences in the protocols for Resusciation, Choking, Casualty Handling and Incident Management.

Subject to ongoing assesement, all delegates will receive a Paedatric - Appointed Person certificate valid for a period of 3 years.
