Suitable for: All persons working with young children or babies in any paid, personal or. voluntary capacity. The course is specifically designed to cater for those in. Playgroups, Nurseries, Crèches, Childminding or Babysitting. The course meets the requirements of the EYFS

All Hailey Training tutors hold recognised adult teaching qualifications in addition to their First Aid Training qualifications. They all maintain Operational Competence as event First Aiders. All women groups can choose a female trainer if required

PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID (FIRST AID FOR BABIES AND CHILDREN)

This unit is mapped to NQF Standards and is compliant with insurance requirements when working with children and babies. Successful learners are able to offer immediate and temporary care of children and infants in the event of an emergency.
Outcome Certificate:
Certificated by Hailey Training, satisfying the requirements of Ofsted, The Pre School Learning Alliance, and National Childminding Association. This certificate contributes 12 of 30 hours towards an occupational safety in early years setting diploma.

Details:
This is a 12 hour course which can be delivered over two (6 hour) week days, two (6 hour) Saturdays or four (3 hour) evening sessions. This course is now a requirement for any one wishing to operate as a childminder in the UK.
Re-Qualification:
Every three years.
