History

The company was formed in 2004 specifically to provide occupational safety training to employees of local manufacturing businesses. Shortly afterwards the portfolio was expanded to include a wide range of safety, compliance and licence training. The First Aid section continued to offer Paediatric First Aid and this expanded to a wider suite of courses for the Early Years sector. In a similar way the Care sector suite of courses developed from addressing the needs identified to the company by delegates attending other courses. The SIA door supervision course has run since 2004 and in 2008 we added CCTV as the demand for this licence grew with the increased number of installations in public places.Today the company offers an ever increasing range of subjects and qualifications with a portfolio that is constantly being adjusted to remain relevant and valuable to the clients we serve.

Advantages of studying here

Hailey Training has a purpose equipped training centre in South East London where many of our open public courses are delivered. Learners can study here in an environment that has been engineered to provide the best possible learning space.Alternatively we can deliver training on your company premises or at a location of your choosing; sending the training to your staff rather than sending your staff to training. All of our learners undergo a formal assessment or test before we issue a certificate at the end of the course. This is sent away for marking in the case of externally accredited courses and marked internally for our own accredited units. The value to the learner is that they know that they have achieved; not just attended. The value to the employer is that they have an empirical measure of the success their investment in people has returned and a direct measure of the quality delivered by us.

Description

We are proud of our reputation for quality and the high percentage of our learners that achieve a pass certificate at the end of their training. We place great importance on well structured learning delivered in a relaxed, interactive style. Every one of our courses includes either an internally or externally marked test. This puts pressure on our training staff to do a good job and means our learner leave knowing that they passed; not just attended. So much of the training that we deliver contributing to regulatory compliance or CPD (Continual Professional Development) that we place great importance on course content, delivery and testing. Our trainers not only hold appropriate qualifications in the subject to be studied, but are full time training professionals who hold adult teaching qualifications that grant them entry to the Institute for Learning (IfL)
