The course content will be tailored to the needs of the workplace(s) involved but will always cover: First Aid Legislation. Assessing incidents. Dealing with unconscious casualties and Resuscitation. Choking and Asthma. Bleeding and Shock. Fractures and muscle injuries. Diabetes and Epilepsy. Aftercare and First Aid kit. Suitable for: Anyone with an interest in child first aid or those working with children but do not require the OFSTED course. For example parents, relatives, play group workers, nursery staff and babysitters.

Course review:
The Standard Paediatric First Aid training course has been designed to give candidates a greater understanding of the injuries and illnesses that could effect children and an introduction to basic first aid skills that will enable them to carry out basic life support to adults, children and infants with confidence.
The course is appropriate for those who work with children or those who have contact with children but are not required to complete the 12 hour OFSTED Paediatric First Aid Course.
The course focuses on child and infant first aid and is useful to anyone dealing with young children and infants including child minders, nursery staff, play group staff, parent and toddler group workers, parents and other relatives and more.
