Course Description
This course follows on from the Level 2 studies. You will study more into the organisational skills required in the use of labour, materials and planning. You will learn to be proficient at organising and planning work programmes for building purposes.Your studies on this course will include: General workplace safety; Confirm work activities and resources; Develop and maintain work relationships. Confirm the occupational method of work. Erect & dismantle access equipment.

Entry Requirements
Level 2 Work-based Apprenticeship learners will have to undertake a period of initial assessment, including a vocational aptitude test, and achieve between 50% and 70% in both Literacy and Numeracy Level 1 diagnostic tests.

Modules Studied:

• Produce basic Graining and Marble
• Prepare surfaces for decoration
• Apply paint systems by brush and roller
• Hang wallcoverings to complex areas
• Hang wide-width vinyls
• Produce broken colour work and stencil designs
• Produce and apply stencil designs

Attendance Modes: Day

Assessment: Assessments and portfolio building. Advanced Construction Award (Technical Certificate), Key Skills in Communication and Application of Number (L2), Employer Rights and Responsibilities (ERR).
