Traineeship programmes are designed to prepare you for your future careers by helping you to become ‘work ready’.
The programme itself is made up of different elements:
Towards the end of the placement the employer will carry out an ‘interview’ and provide you with helpful feedback. There may be opportunities to move onto an apprenticeship or gain paid employment. Employers will provide you with a reference to help you apply for other jobs as well.
We will support you in choosing where to go next in your career. Our experienced team will help you decide what training is right for you after your placement has ended.
NOTHING! The training that you will receive will be funded by the Government. Trainees will be expected to attend ALL components of their training courses at the College.
You will be provided with a bus pass or petrol money for the duration of your course and, dependent on your attendance and feedback from your placement, you could be eligible to receive a weekly allowance from the College.
