Palliative Care

This course is aimed at all staff physically caring for people close to the end of their lives, it looks at dignified death and appropriate physical skills and practices, it will explore the deterioration of the human functions and how to respond to the increased care need. The key to effective palliative care is to provide a safe way for the individual to address their physical and psychological distress in an environment of support and openness.
