History

Palmer's College was founded by a merchant, William Palmer, in 1706. For over 300 years we have served the community of Thurrock and for over thirty years we have been the Sixth Form College of choice for 16-19 year olds in Thurrock.

Areas of specialisation

The College boasts a number of accolades including the Recognition of Quality (RoQA) careers education award as well as becoming an International Baccalaureate (IB) provider, retaining its Investors (IiP) in People accreditation and recently obtaining the two ticks kite mark.

Palmer's College has over 2000 students studying A levels, BTECs, Business Technology or the IB.
