Description of the Course
The LOGIC CERTIFICATION/IDHEE* Energy Efficiency for Domestic Heating Certificate is aimed at the professional heating installer who works in domestic properties. This course will prepare you for self certification as per the amendments to Part L Building Regulations came into operation in April of this year. The certificate will demonstrate your competence and is recognised by CORGI and the Energy Savings Trust.
Course content
The course will take you through the use of the Whole House method of sizing for boilers. Central Heating System Specification (CHeSS) which will refer to SAP ratings, dwelling CO2 emission rate (DER) and energy costs.
Assessment
The paper based assessment will be carried out on the same day with feed back on completion.
Who is the course for?
The professional heating installer who works in domestic properties and operatives who have just successfully complete their ACS Core Gas Safety (CCN1) and Central Heating Boiler (CEN1)
