Course description
Complete the Advanced National Certificate in Horticulture in one year by attending college two days per week - Mondays and Tuesdays. You will follow the amenity and decorative horticulture route consisting of 8 units. Content covers practical site surveying, identification and uses of plants, management of garden features and plants together with an understanding of business management and horticulture science. You should hold a level 2 qualification in horticulture or be educated to 5 GSCEs grades A - C or equivalent. Mature students without the relevant entry qualifications may be accepted if they can demonstrate a sound knowledge of horticulture. Fee includes tuition and awarding body registration. An interview is required.
