Course description
Computerised Accounts Level 3 is for skilled and experienced users with a solid understanding of manual book-keeping and accounting principles, as well as some working knowledge of computerised accounts, who are looking for a qualification that reflects their knowledge and ability. On this course students will learn how to deal with month end procedures including stock, prepayments, accruals, depreciation, bad debt, addition and disposal of a fixed asset, contra entries and recurring entries.

Final award
Level 3 is assessed by one exam of 2.5 hour in duration. The aim of the examination is to test the candidate s ability in the setting up and operation of a computerised accounts software package, involving the interpretation and processing of both routine and non-routine transactions, together with the production of the profit and loss account and balance sheet.
