Course Content

Part time training for the advanced modern apprentice. The emphasis at level three training is student centred with the responsibility for development up to the student. Training is based on the diagnostics required for the repair of a range of agricultural machinery where students must carry out tasks from initial customer discussions to invoicing.

Essential training to become a fully qualified Mechanic.

Development of the diagnostic skills required for a range of agricultural machinery.

In depth theory training to equip students with the knowledge to carry out diagnostic tests and the repairs necessary.
Career Prospects and Progression

On successful completion of this course students may be able to progress to the HNC in Agricultural Engineering.

Entry Requirements

Successful completion of NVQ Level 2 is recommended but relevant industrial experience will be taken into consideration. An essential part of the NVQ 2 is evidence of practical work from the workplace. Employed status for this course is recommended.
