Course Details

The School of Art and Design's Masterclass programme is a 30 week course which will enable students to develop their specialist skills by negotiating a design brief with their Course Tutor who will encourage students to explore the parameters of existing skills into advanced use of techniques and processes. The course normally includes a professional exhibition at Middleton Hall, University of Hull. The Master Classes are: Ceramics Jewellery Textiles Printmaking

OCN Level 3 course or AS/A2 Level

Additional info:
Completion of on-line applications are not necessary. Due to the nature of the activity, informal one to one guidance is preferred to ensure correct entry onto courses. Therefore, please contact the Art and Design office directly. Students will be asked to provide basic materials but some specialist materials will be supplied. Advice on material costs will be provided at application.

Progression:
OCN Access Diploma (Art and Design), Edexcel (BTEC) Foundation Diploma in Art and Design, Foundation Degrees/Degree, subject to entry requirements.
