Course Content

The aims of this course are to raise awareness of personal safety issues and to promote actions to help minimise risks to personal safety.

Objectives:

• To help you understand issues relating to the 'fear of crime'
• Ensure that you recognise situations & actions that put personal safety at risk
• Encourage you to adopt routines & procedures to minimise risks to personal safety
• Develop your abilities to recognise & react appropriately in conflict situations
• Provide you with knowledge of how to report & record incidents
