Course Description:
This course is designed for those wishing to improve their knowledge and understanding of bookkeeping. It allows those progessing from Level 1 to further develop their knowledge of manual bookkeeping.

• Preparing ledger accounts and control accounts.
• Correcting errors in business accounts such as identifying errors in ledger accounts.
• Understanding capital and revenue expenditures.
• Depreciation.
• End of Year adjustments.
• Trial Balance

Assessment and Progression:
Students' work is assessed via a 2 hour exam, marked by the awarding body, C & G. Successful completion of the course leads to the award of a C & G Award in Bookkeeping & Accounts Level 2.

Progression
Students who successfully complete this Level 2 course may choose to progress to courses provided (at Lincoln College) by the Association of Accounting Technicians, which are nationally recognised accounting qualifications
