Course Details

This course builds on the Stage I programme. There is a bigger emphasis on documents of original entry, more complicated transactions and error corrections. Double entry principles are re-visited and covered in much more depth. The examination lasts for 2 hours and covers: Preparing batch control sheets Adding, deleting and modifying accounts Processing sales/purchase invoices and credit notes Aged debtors and customer/supplier history report Standing orders, direct debits Processing journals and error correction Purchase payments, sales receipts, bank/cash payments/receipts/transfers. Transaction history reports Trial balance and customer/supplier list

Qualifications required:
Successful completion of the Pitmans Computerised Accounts Level 1 course.
