Is this course for you
This is a one year course 2 evenings per week. This course is for those wishing to study for a more advanced qualification in Electrical Technology. It extends the themes of Level 2 and provides the necessary theoretical knowledge, installation methods and procedures for the electrical installation industry. You will be required to sit an initial assessment and attend an interview. It is run at the St Neots Skills Centre, which is equipped for all of the practical requirements of the course. There will be a £25 fee for a text book and materials.

How will you be assessed
Assessment is carried out continuously throughout the programme. There is a multiple choice exam at the end of unit 1 and units 2 and 3 consist of a written examination followed by substantial industry standard practical assessments. You will be expected to build a portfolio of evidence of your work and you will need to show good compliance to Health and Safety throughout the course.
