Is this course for you
This course is for those people starting out in this trade or wishing to obtain a more formal level of knowledge and qualification in this subject. You must have a good general education at Level 2 and be reasonably fit. You need to be a resourceful person capable of accepting a challenge and willing to embrace new ideas in line with technology and regulations.

What will you study
The college is equiped with the necessary practical equipment for you and you will study units on Safe working practices, Installation of domestic plumbing systems, Heating systems, Sanitary and Drainage and Plumbing principles and plumbing processes. Some learners may need to complete Key skills in Application of number, communications at level 2 and IT at level 1

How will you be assessed
The assessment of practical skills will be continuous throughout the programme and your knowledge and understanding will be assessed through assignments and an external examination set by City and Guilds.

There is an additional £25 material fee. You will need to equip yourself with protective footwear and overalls before you start the course.
