Childrens Care, Learning & Dev. Level 2 NVQ
This course provides the skills and knowledge required to work in a supervisory role in a child-centred environment including nurseries, schools and after-school clubs.
Course Content:
In the first three terms students will complete a four-unit technical certificate covering the underpinning knowledge, skills and understanding required for the NVQ Level 2 in Early Years Care and Education. In the final term students will complete the practical assessment for the NVQ Level 2.

Entry Requirements:

- The College offers a wide range of courses in Early Years, including :
- CACHE NVQ Level 3 in Childrens Care, Learning and Development (CCLD3)
- CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Child Care and Education (DCE)
- Teaching Assistants NVQs at Levels 2 & 3
Entry Process:
An interview with the course tutor will be arranged at the earliest opportunity after receiving your application.
Assessment:
An approved assessor will visit you in your workplace to assess your practical competence, knowledge and understanding. You will need to submit a portfolio to show your competence in all areas of the award.
Progression Routes:
The course leads on to the CACHE Level 3 Apprenticeship in Early Years.
Career Options:
Successful students will find employment opportunities within a wide range of early years settings.
