Entry Requirements

• Acceptance onto the course is subject to an interview by a member of the Doncaster Business School CIPD team.
• Access to an organisation's training function.

Course Description

The course is designed for those who are engaged in the delivery or administration of training and development, either wholly or as part of their work role.

Tuition is provided by experienced HR practitioners who are either Chartered members or Fellows of the CIPD. The course requires attendance on one evening per week (Thursday 5.00pm-9.00pm).

The course is designed to be highly practical and participative, with the emphasis on:

• Acquisition of Practical Skills
• Confidence Building
• Continuous Assessment
• Self-Development

Students who successfully complete this course are awarded the Certificate in Training Practice by the CIPD which leads to associate membership.

Assessment

Students are required to demonstrate their competence in a variety of modules by way of work based report, the completion of assignments and presentations (there are no formal traditional examinations).
