Course Details

The City and Guilds certificate is a two-part qualification covering the testing and inspection of electrical equipment. The City and Guilds 2377-200 is the certificate of Competence for those who undertake the relevant inspection and testing of electrical equipment in a practical sense. Part 2 (The certificate in Inspection and Testing) consists of the following sections: - Equipment construction - Inspection - Combined Inspection and Testing - Recording and use of instruments - Equipment Assessment: The assessment of the qualification is by one multiple choice online exam. This is done on an agreed date with the learner. Also, a small practical test is done at the end of the day. Materials needed: Textbook: The Code of Practice Document for in-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (this is included in the course fees). All other materials are provided.
