Course Details

For the award of this certificate, candidates must Successfully carry out the installation and testing of an aerial for the reception of DTT signals. Successfully pass a multiple choice examination of 30 items. The examination covers these topics: Digital broadcasting and systems Site survey Aerial Mountings and cable fixings Aerials and feeders Noise and interference Customer Care Health and Safety

Qualifications required:
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. Ideally, candidates will be aware of television aerials and system installations and also of basic health and safety. Experience of working at heights, customer care and the operation of basic test and measurement equipment will be advantageous.
