Course Description: This course is designed for qualified, practicing Electricians working in the Electrical Installation Industry. It forms an essential part of the qualification required to work in this industry. Training will be provided to give these Craftspeople an update of their knowledge of the applicable wiring regulations.

Students will study: Status and Professional Responsibilities; Plan and Style of the Regulations; Electrical Supply Systems; Protection; Cable Sizing; Earthing Arrangements; Isolation and Switching; Special Locations and Installations, Test and Inspection Methods.

NOTE: Each candidate will require a copy of the 17th Edition BS7671 regulations and a calculator.

Entry Requirements: Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification or equivalent.
