Introduction
This Beginners course for mature students gives an understanding of the basic elements of Word Processing on the home computer in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

Description
At the end of the course you will be able to access the Word Processing application, save and open files, highlight and complete text enhancements (Font size, style, bold, italics), cut, copy & paste, align text, compile letters, set tabulations, make a basic greetings card. This course could lead to further learning.

Duration
1 term (1.5 hours x 10 weeks)

Method of Study
You will need a notebook and pencil, glasses (if needed for reading), hearing aid (if worn). Please note that this course uses well-travelled laptop computers and there is no facility for Internet access.
