Following a set of National Occupational Standards understand and evidence your own personal and professional development. This course is for practising managers looking for a work-based qualification. It recognises the importance of having underpinning knowledge and understanding in addition to the skills needed to do your job effectively. Management Level 4 is for a practising manager who has responsibility for allocating work to others, achieving specific results and a reasonable span of control and negotiates budgets. The areas covered include competence within managing resources, managing people and managing information. There are 8 units in total to complete (5 core and 3 optional), which can be chosen from a wide range and will be appropriate to the work the candidate does.
