WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
You will be taught how and why certain colours affect your emotions, mental faculties and physical well being and the ways in which you can use colour for deep healing. This course will enable you to carry out an in-depth colour healing treatment on clients using various techniques and it will also show you how to combine colour therapy with other complementary treatments.

WHAT ARE MY COMMITMENTS?
You will need to have revised your Anatomy and Physiology and Business/Health & Safety in preparation for class and external tests. There will be 6 case studies (4 treatments)

WHAT WILL I ACHIEVE?
On successful completion of the course you will obtain a Diploma in Holistic Colour Therapy from the Vocational Training Charitable Trust of the International Institute of Health and Holistic Therapies.

WHAT WILL I STUDY?
You will study the following:

Theory

History of colour ways of using colour to heal
The seven coloured cosmic rays and the nature of light
How colour affects our health physical, mental and emotional
Colour psychology and the meanings of colours
Sensing colours, feeding our subtle bodies, interpreting auric colours
Therapeutic colours for dress and dcor
The therapeutic action of the rays on the physical body
Counselling using colour and giving colour readings
Colour breathing and visualisations for health benefits

Practical

Energy exercises
Interpreting pictures
How to interpret someones personality using the colours in their wardrobe working with different coloured objects
Colour meditations, visualisation and colour breathing
Colour and chakra reflexes
Grounding and centering

3r753-09 Course fees 0 16-18 year olds, 550(144) 19 years and over

Course fees are payable on enrolment. Costs shown in brackets are for those on income-based benefits. Refunds are not normally available.
