Is this course for you
This course will follow the City & Guilds 7822 syllabus, and will offer students the opportunity to gain certification at the end of the year. This one year course will provide the first steps for the professional garden designer and also the keen amateur gardener. The course will include basic garden skills, choosing plants for special sites, garden history, principles of hard and soft landscaping, planning and creating gardens, drawing and presentation of design for clients.

How will you be assessed
You will need to produce three Garden Design projects (one per term) the criteria for each will be given to you at the beginning of each term. Homework may be necessary to ensure completion, but most work will be done in class time. A folder of work - related to each class and including work related to the core design days

Additional information
Students are required to attend three compulsory core sessions. A range of drawing equipment will need to be purchased, maximun cost £80.00 A list will be given during the first lesson.
