Course Description
The aim of the course is:
* To introduce the basic element of design
* To provide and develop practical skills in embroidery

The course includes:
* Design for craft Selection and use of colour, use of line and selection of texture.
* Producing a portfolio of samples of embroidery stitches and techniques, and producing a folder of notes.


How is the Qualification Achieved ?
Continuous assessment.

On Successful Completion of this Course
Progress onto further embroidery courses at level 2.
