Course Description
To learn the skills for countryside maintenance , and in particular learn how to maintain a hedge by the traditional skill of laying the hedge.

Course Content
Learn how to lay a young, mature and semi derelict hedge by practising the skill, following an introductory session on key features on hedge laying and health and safety.

Method of Assessment
By continuous and end of course assessments on safe use of tools, aptitude and skill.

Equipment and Additional Costs
Leather/fabric gardening gloves.
